Here is how to activate 2FA for your cPanel. Two factor-authentication is an optional feature designed to prevent anyone but you from accessing your hosting account by requiring two identity verification forms: your password and an authentication code.
To ensure your hosting plan’s security, Here is how to activate 2FA (two factor authorization) for your cPanel by Google Authenticator.
First, log in to your cPanel and select Two-Factor Authentication in the Security section
In the next window, click the Set Up Two-Factor Authentication button
In your Google Authenticator app, scan the QR code provided to you and specify the code that the app will generate in cPanel
After successfully setting up two-factor authentication, you will see the following message in cPanel, and you will be notified by the contact email of the cPanel user

To disable protection, click the Remove Two-Factor Authentication button in the same section of cPanel
You will also be notified by email about disabled protection.
2FA on Reseller hosting
Reseller user and other additional cPanel users on the Reseller hosting plan can create the 2FA exactly the same way as described in the previous steps. The only difference is that a Reseller user can disable 2FA for their server users via WHM. This is useful in cases where the user loses 2FA that Reseller created.
Attention#1 In case you lose the code, we can disable 2FA protection for your user. In such case, contact our support – they are happy to help 24/7.
Attention#2 2FA supports only one concurrent session for any user. If you open several browser windows to cPanel and log out in one of them, the server will log out of the other windows.
